ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: “…to issue Writ Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 4th respondent in issuing proceedings dated 23.04.2014 and the proceedings dated 26.05.2014 as being illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and set aside the said proceedings dated 23.04.2014 and proceedings dated 26.05.2014 and consequently direct the respondents 3 and 4 to forthwith pass orders by granting temporarily affiliation for the Academic Years 2014-15 and 2015-16 as communicated by the 2nd respondent’s letter dated 29.01.2014 and for the academic years thereafter and pass such other order or orders as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.”
Mr. P. Panduranga Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners, has circulated letter dated 15.10.2014 to the Registry, wherein he has informed that due to the developments taken place after filing of the writ petition, the petitioners do not intend to pursue the writ petition and that, therefore, they have instructed him to withdraw the writ petition.
At the hearing, Mr. P. Narayana Swamy, learned counsel representing Mr. P. Panduranga Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners, reiterated the said request.
In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
As a sequel to the dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.18848 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
