Altaf Hasan, Advocate for R-1 - Absent; Notice to R-2 served and unrepresented) This Writ Petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct respondent No.1 Bank to accept the amount from the petitioner under one time settlement scheme pursuant to the order dated 28.09.2018 vide Annexure-D etc.
This Writ Petition coming on for Orders, this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER None for the petitioner. Record perused.
In this petition, the petitioner inter alia seeks for a direction to the respondent-Bank to consider the representation filed by the petitioner on 04.12.2018 to extend the time to pay the amount under the One Time Settlement Scheme vide Annexure-E.
2. On perusal of the record, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the competent authority to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner under ‘One Time Settlement’ scheme, if not already decided within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today. Ordered accordingly.
3. It is made clear that this court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
In view of disposal of the main petition, pending interlocutory applications do not survive for consideration. Accordingly, the same are disposed of.
