Vaishali Hegde, Advcoate for R-2) These Writ Petitions are filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to quash the impugned notification at Annexure-B passed by the R-3 dated 10.06.2015 and etc.
These Writ Petitions coming on for Preliminary Hearing in ‘B’ Group this day, the Court made the following:
O R D E R The petitioners have challenged the notification at Annexure-B dated 10.06.2015 issued by respondent No.3 which provides for reservation with respect to the post of Adhyaksha and Upadhyaksha of the various Gram Panchayats, insofar as it relates to Ajjampura Gram Panchayat at Sl.No.45.
2. Learned Additional Government Advocate points out that election for the post of Adhyaksha of Ajjampura Gram Panchayat have been held on 19.05.2016. Hence, it is submitted that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as the question of considering the validity of the said notification does not arise in view of the subsequent developments.
Accordingly, taking note of the said aspect, these petitions are dismissed as having become infructuous.
