THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP, THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
O R D E R The learned counsel for the petitioner has sought for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to deposit the amount before the Senior Civil Judge & JMFC at Kanakapura under the provisions of Section 29[2] of the KIADB Rules and to release the compensation amount in respect of the land bearing Sy.No.520, measuring 1 acre 20 guntas situated at Harohalli Hobli, Kanakapura Taluk, Ramanagara District in accordance with law by considering the representation dated 12.02.2019 at Annexure-D.
2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the representation filed by him on 12.02.2019 has remained unconsidered and accordingly seeks for a writ of mandamus as aforesaid.
3. In the circumstances, this Court finds it appropriate to direct the respondent No.2 to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 12.02.2019 and to pass appropriate orders after hearing the petitioner, in an expeditious manner, in any event within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of the order.
With the aforesaid observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
