... RESPONDENTS THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 AND 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA PRAYING TO QUASH THE ORDER DATED 17.12.2014 PASSED BY THE KARNATAKA INFORMATION COMMISSIION (CH-2) I.E. R-3 IN KIC 4322 APL 2014 VIDE ANNEXURE-A.
THIS WRIT PETITION IS COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R The order dated 17.12.2014 is assailed in this petition filed on 30.11.2016. At the outset, it is seen that there is a delay of more than two years in assailing the said order. The order impugned is a conscious order passed by the Karnataka Information Commission exempting imposition of penalty, but warning the respondents not to cause delay in issuing the documents in future. In that circumstance, the instant petition only for the purpose of directing the respondents that the penalty be ordered at such belated stage, would not be justified.
The petition is disposed of accordingly.
