ORDER R.DEVDAS J., (ORAL):
The respondents No.1 and 2 have filed a memo dated 17.12.2018 stating that the petitioner has sought for quashing the order dated 13.04.2018 passed by the respondent No.2, at Annexure-A whereby the petitioner was reverted to the post of Chief Engineer from the post of Engineer-in-Chief. It is stated by the respondents that by an order dated 20.11.2018, the respondent No.2 has withdrawn the impugned order dated 13.04.2018 at Annexure-A, and therefore, the writ petition has been rendered infructuous. Copy of the order dated 20.11.2018 has been filed along with the memo dated 17.12.2018.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner admits the fact that the respondents have passed another order dated 20.11.2018 whereby the impugned order dated 13.04.2018, stands withdrawn.
3 In view of the order, the writ petition has been rendered infructuous and therefore, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
