These Petitions coming on for Orders, this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER None for the petitioners.
Sri.V.Shivareddy, learned High Court Government Pleader for respondent Nos.1, 2 and 24.
In these petitions, the petitioners inter alia have prayed for the following reliefs:
“a) A writ of certiorari quashing the letter passed by the 2nd Respondent dated 05/01/2017 vide Annexure-A;
b) A writ of certiorari quashing the letter dated 07/01/2017 at Annexure-B, signed by the 4th Respondent and the letter dated 06/01/2017 vide Annexure- L signed by the 5th Respondent which were all acts done in pursuance of the alleged meeting dated 06/01/2017 and c) For such other order, direction and declaration as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.”
Learned High Court Government Pleader submitted that the petitioners are seeking quashment of the order dated 05.01.2017 by which Administrator was appointed in respect of the Society in question. It is further submitted that the term of the Administrator has expired on account of efflux of time, as he was appointed for a period of six months and submitted that in view of the aforesaid subsequent development, nothing survives for adjudication in these writ petitions.
In view of the above, the writ petitions are dismissed as having become infructuous.
