These Writ Petitions are filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent No.1 to consider and act in furtherance of the complaint dated 17.2.2015 vide Annexure-K, and etc.
These petitions coming on for preliminary hearing this day, the Chief Justice made the following:
ORDER A complaint has been lodged regarding improper utilisation of the funds granted under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005, by the Gram Panchayath, Koira village, Devanahalli taluk, Bengaluru rural district, Karnataka, in terms of the circular prescribing Standard Operating Procedure, dated September 7, 2012.
2. We direct the State Government to furnish its views, within fifteen days from today, to the Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. The said Secretary, after receiving the views of the State, shall take appropriate action in relation to the complaint lodged by the writ petitioners.
3. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petitions stand disposed of.
4. We clarify that we have not gone into the claims and the counter claims of the parties. All issues are kept open.
5. We make no order as to costs.
