ORDER Sri. Vijaya Kumar K., learned counsel for the petitioner.
Sri. S. Rachaiah, learned High Court Government Pleader for respondent No.1 and Sri. Shekarappa, learned counsel for respondent No.2.
2. The petition is admitted for hearing. With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard finally.
3. In this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Code’ for short), the petitioner has sought for quashment of the proceedings in C.C.No.53322/2019 pending on the file of the 43rd Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Bangalore, for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 324 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
4. When the matter was taken up today, the learned counsel for the parties have produced a joint memo along with joint affidavit stating that the parties have amicably resolved the dispute between themselves and therefore, the proceedings in the criminal court be quashed. It is further submitted that all the offences are compoundable.
5. In view of the aforesaid submission and taking into consideration the fact that all the offences are compoundable, proceedings in C.C.No. 53322/2019 are hereby quashed.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
