The Tahsildhar Devanahalli Taluk Mini Vidhana Soudha B.B.Road Bangalore Rural District Devanahalli- 562 110 ...Respondent (By Sri.Venkatesh Dodderi, AGA) These Writ Petitions are filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India praying to issue direction to the respondent to consider the application filed by the petitioner vide Annexure-E dated 26.04.2018 for effecting inheritance katha in respect of lands bearing Sy. No.1/2 measuring to an extent of 2 acres 03 guntas and Sy.No.218 measuring to an extent of 2 acre 16 guntas, situated at Budegere Village, Channarayapatna Hobli, Devanahalli Taluk, Bangalore Rural District.
These Writ Petitions coming on for Orders, this day, the Court made the following:
O R D E R The petitioner herein is claiming title to the lands bearing Sy.No.1/2 measuring 2 acres 3 guntas and Sy.No.218 measuring 2 acres 16 guntas of Budegere Village, Channarayapatna Hobli, Devanahalli Taluk, Bangalore Rural District.
2. His grievance is that the application filed by him seeking effecting inheritance katha of the aforesaid lands is pending consideration since 26.04.2018 as could be seen from Annexure-E. Hence, he has come up in these Writ Petitions seeking direction to the respondents viz., Thasildar, Devanahalli to effect inheritance katha.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Advocate.
4. On perusal of the records, I deem it proper to allow this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is allowed subject to the documents of the title being in order and the petitioner being eligible to get the land mutated in his name. If the same is in order, respondent shall consider the application of the petitioner and pass appropriate order within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
