2. It is the case of the petitioner that on the basis of the complaint lodged by one Lakshmi @ Nithya, a criminal case in Crime No.4089 of 2015 has been registered against the petitioner for the alleged offence punishable under Section 417 IPC, which,according to him, is a false one. Though the said case was registered on 02.12.2015, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who took notice for the respondent.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to complete the investigation of the case in Crime No.4089 of 2015 and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
