Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and Sri Satya Prakash, learned Standing Counsel for the State- respondents.
The petitioner has prayed for a direction to the District Magistrate, Chitrakoot to decide his pending representation dated 22.11.2017 (Annexure - 5 to the petition). A perusal of the said representation indicates that the petitioner has prayed for firstly for correction of revenue records and secondly for an injunction restraining the opposite parties from interfering in the peaceful possession of the petitioner over the land in question.
In our considered opinion, both the reliefs as prayed before the Collector cannot be granted by him. Appropriate remedy would be to apply for correction of revenue records and for the second part to approach the Civil Court for injunction. We are therefore not inclined to issue a direction to the Collector for deciding the representation.
Petition is accordingly dismissed.
