THESE PETITIONS COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER Sri.K.Chandrashekar Achar, learned counsel for the petitioners.
Sri.B.Balakrishna, learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondents.
2. In this petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners inter alia seek a direction to the respondents to consider the representations submitted by the petitioners.
3. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that their representations shall be considered. On the other hand, learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondents submitted that the same shall be dealt with in accordance with law if not already decided.
4. In view of the submissions made and in the facts of the case, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petitions with a direction that the competent authority shall decide the representations of the petitioners afresh, if not already decided, in accordance with law by a speaking order within three weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the petitions are disposed of.
