JUDGMENT / ORDER

…Petitioner ...Respondent (By Sri.T.P.Rajendra Kumar Sungay, Advocate) This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to quash the seniority lists of Superintendents and Sr. Assistants, dated 25.10.2013 vide Annexure-A and A1 and restrain the respondent from consequential promotion granted to various officials and all further proceedings thereto.
This Writ Petition coming on for Orders this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER In the instant petition petitioner has assailed the notification dated 25.10.2013 (Annexures-A and A1). Further sought for re-do the seniority lists of Superintendents and Senior Assistants while taking into account the ratio of 4:1 fixed under the University statutes read with 25.2 of the Bangalore University’s Statues. During the pendency of the present petition, respondent-University notified a reviewed Provisional Seniority list in the cadre of Superintendents, Senior Assistants, Assistant Registrars etc. of Ministerial Staff of Bangalore University in terms of Sections 3 and 4 read with Section 5 of the Karnataka Extension of Consequential Seniority To Government Servant Promoted on t basis of reservation (to the posts in the Civil Services of the State) Act, 2017 so also Government order No. DPAR 186 SRS 2018 dated 15.05.2019. In view of the later development, the memo for disposal (document No.1), the present petition does not survive for consideration.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has filed objection/representation aggrieved by the provisional seniority list of superintendents’ cadre. In such an event, concerned authority is hereby directed to look into the petitioner’s grievance before deciding the review of provisional seniority list of superintendents’ cadre and finalize within a reasonable period of three months from the date of receipt of this order and communicate final seniority list to the petitioner.
With these observations, petition stands disposed of.
