As per office report dated 21.05.2016, notices were sent to the petitioner pursuant to order dated 22.04.2016 to engage another counsel but respondent No.1 does not reside at the given address, respondent No.3 was not found at the given address and name of father of respondent No.4 is incorrect.
This writ petition was filed for a direction to quash the selection held on 5th and 6th of November, 1993 and not to give any appointment to the selected candidates. By interim order dated 09.11.1993, appointment, if any pursuant to the selection of 1993 was made subject to the decision in the writ petition. The writ petition is pending before this court for last 23 years.
Under the circumstances, it appears that the writ petition has become infructuous. Consequently, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
