THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.
2. Learned Additional Government Advocate has this day produced a copy of the statement made by the petitioner before the Assistant Director of Land Records, Panadvapura sub-division, Pandavapura, on 26.03.2016. The said document is produced by Smt. Hemalatha, Deputy Director of Land Records, Mandya District, Mandya. 3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. On going through the statement of the petitioner, it is clearly seen that he has accepted his mistake in tampering the records while preparing 11-E sketch in respect land bearing Sy. No.360/2 situate in Belavadi village, Srirangapatna Taluk. Therefore, in this background, the impugned order dated 20.07.2016 (Annexure ‘A’ to the petition) passed by respondent No.1 – Commissioner, Department of Land Records and Survey Settlement, Bengaluru, in forfeiting his survey licence appears to be just and proper and the same does not call for interference by this Court.
5. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed.
Learned Additional Government Advocate is permitted to file his memo of appearance within two weeks from today.
