O R D E R Learned counsel for the petitioner is absent. Perused the petition.
2. The petitioner has sought to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.8038/1993 on the file of V Addl. CMM, Bengaluru.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned HCGP appearing for respondent No.1 submits that after trial, the petitioner herein is acquitted of the charge under Section 408 Indian Penal Code by judgment and order dated 01.07.2016 in C.C.No.8038/1993 on the file of V Addl. CMM, Bengaluru.
In view of this submission, nothing survives for consideration in this petition.
Accordingly, the petition is dismissed. In view of dismissal of the main matter, I.A.No.1/16 for stay does not survive for consideration. Accordingly, it is dismissed.
