Purnachandra Rao, IPS., and others … Respondents THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE NO.582 OF 2014 O R D E R This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 02.04.2013 passed by this Court in W.P.No.6015 of 2013. By the said order, the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) was directed to release the petitioner’s Clearance Certificate/No Objection Certificate along with the sums withheld within a time frame.
It is now stated that the APSRTC through its Regional Manager, Nellore, has instructed the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Nellore, to issue the Clearance Certificate to the petitioner in respect of his bus bearing No.AP26W 2449. Copy of the letter dated 02.07.2014 speaking to this effect is placed on record. It is further stated by Sri S.A.K.Mynoddin, learned counsel, that the sums withheld have also been released to the petitioner.
In that view of the matter, the contempt case is closed. In the event the petitioner has any other grievance in respect of the subject bus, he is at liberty to institute fresh proceedings in accordance with law before the appropriate forum. No order as to costs.
