ORDER Mr. Jagadeesh. V.N, Adv. for Petitioner Mr. G.C. Shanmukha, Adv. for Respondents 1. This petition is directed against Annexure- “E” dated 23.02.2016 provisionally demanding a sum of Rs.2,08,006/- from the petitioner on account of back billing for the unauthorized use of electricity.
2. The petitioner filed his objections to the said notice as per Annexure-“F” dated 23.2.2016. The said objections are yet to be decided by the concerned authority of the respondents-BESCOM.
3. The learned counsels at the Bar informed that the power supply to the petitioner’s land, earlier disconnected, has since been restored subject to the final decision to be passed by the competent authority.
4. In view of this submission, the present petition has become infructuous and the same is disposed of with a direction to the concerned authority of the respondent to decide the case of the petitioner expeditiously.
