2. The petition is admitted for hearing and the same is heard finally.
3. In this petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has inter alia assailed the validity of the demand notice dated 14.08.2013 issued by Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board by which the petitioner has been asked to deposit a sum of Rs.1,27,300/- on account of installation of meter.
4. When the matter was taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner be granted liberty to submit a detailed representation in response to the notice dated 14.08.2013 and the competent authority be directed to consider the said representation by a speaking order.
5. In case the petitioner files a representation in response to the notice dated 14.08.2013, the competent authority shall decide the representation filed by the petitioner by a speaking order within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.
6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Petition is disposed of.
