THE PETITION COMING ON FOR CONCILIATION BEFORE LOK ADALAT AFTER BEING REFERRED BY THE COURT, THE FOLLOWING CONCILIATION ORDER IS PASSED.
CONCILIATION ORDER In this petition, the petitioner has prayed for quashing the orders dated 17.06.2015 and 17.10.2015 vide Annexures ‘E’ and ‘L’ issued by the 2nd respondent.
2. After negotiations, the parties have arrived at settlement. According to the settlement, the respondent – Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has already provided the petitioner light duty. Further, the Corporation has agreed to consider the period of absence of the petitioner from 01.09.2015 till 19.03.2016 for the purpose of payment of terminal benefits, the petitioner is not entitled for any financial benefits for this period. The Corporation further agrees to drop the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner in this regard. The petitioner has agreed to withdraw the writ petition. A joint Memo is filed on behalf of the parties to this effect.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn in terms of the settlement.

Respondent/s JOINT MEMO This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to quash the endorsement dated 17/06/2015 and 17/10/2015, and to provide light duty to the petitioner. The Writ Petition has been referred to this LokAdalat by the Hon'ble High Court U/S.20 of the Legal Services Authorities Act.1987. The parties to the petition have settled their claim before the Lok Adalat on the following terms:
The respondent corporation has already provided the petitioner light duty. The parties to this petition have set their hands to this settlement before the Lok Adalat in the presence of Conciliators on this 22.09.2017 at Bengaluru Bench.
