ORDER:
Heard.
2. The issue involved in this writ petition is with regard to the complaint of the petitioners that the respondents and their subordinate officers are insisting upon the petitioners to obtain police permits and pay Rs.100/- per day per vehicle in respect of the contract carriage vehicles, which are plying in the twin cities. The very same issue was considered by this Court in WP.No.14914 of 2014 and by order dated 16.07.2014 it was recorded as follows:
“7. The counter affidavits filed by the respective respondents, therefore, set at rest the grievance of the petitioners that they are not required to pay any amount per vehicle per day and the police permits are granted free of cost and are only insisted as regulatory measure. In view of the said averments, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition.”
3. Learned Government Pleaders also accepts and submit that strict instructions are already issued to all the respondents not to insist on payment of Rs.100/- per vehicle per day, as alleged by the petitioners.
Recording the said submission and following the aforesaid decision, this writ petition is disposed of in terms thereof. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
