The petitioner in the above writ petition is a regular stage carriage permit holder operating vehicle bearing registration No.KL 17 A/2064 in the route Panayam Temple-Kundara. The timings of the service was last issued on 06.02.2014. On account of the changed circumstances warranting revision of timings with respect to other stage carriages, the petitioner filed an application to revise his timings by Ext.P1 dated 04.07.2014. The petitioner prays for an expeditious consideration of his application. The petitioner specifically contends that two stage carriages bearing Nos.KL.2T/1684 and KL-2D/905 have surrendered their permits. Only in such circumstance, Ext.P1 application is filed. If it is received in original in the office of the respondent, the respondent shall issue notice of hearing within one week of receipt of certified copy of this judgment to the petitioner and any other stage carriage operator adversely affected by change in timings sought for by the petitioner and also display public notice in WPC No.27051/2014 ::2:: the notice board of the office of the respondent and shall then consider the prayer of the petitioner, in accordance with law, at any rate, within a period of one month from the date of publication of the above notice.
Writ petition is disposed of as above.
