JUDGMENT / ORDER

Ramachandran Nair, J.
The petitioners are aggrieved by Ext.P4 order passed by the Family Court, Kottarakkara. The petitioners are respondents in the proceedings pending before the Family Court. The respondent filed I.A. No.1962/2013 for permission for playing an audio C.D. for receiving its contents in evidence. This was allowed by the court below as per Ext.P4 order.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the evidence in the case was over in 2012 and the purpose is only to delay the proceedings.
3. Learned counsel for the respondent submitted that sufficient safeguards have been provided in Ext.P4 order and therefore the petitioners cannot stand in the way of producing the C.D.
4. We are of the view that the learned Judge has stated detailed reasons in paragraph 6. It has been observed that the burden to prove the genuineness of the contents in the device is on the part of the petitioner, viz. the respondent herein and the counter petitioner can challenge the OP(FC) No.290/2014 -2-
authenticity of contents in the record.
5. In that view of the matter, since proper safeguards have been provided in the order, we do not find any reason to interfere with the same and the original petition is dismissed. Every effort will be taken to dispose of the matter within a period of six months and both sides are directed to co- operate with the proceedings before the Family Court. No costs.
