This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of "Mandamus" by declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in rejecting the calculation of the PDL (Permitted Demand Limits) and PCL (Permitted Consumption Limits) duly combining the CMD of the petitioner- company, its parent company and APGPCL share vide proceedings in Memo No.CGM(C)/SE(C)/DE(C)/ADE- III/D.No.4827/ 13, dt.14.03.2014, as illegal, void, ab intio, unjust, arbitrary, discriminatory, violative of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution and for a consequential direction to the respondents to adopt the calculation of PDL and PCL duly combining the CMD for the petitioner- company, its parent company and APGPCL share in respect of penalties arising out of R & C measures in the interest of justice and equity.”
At the hearing Mr.A.Ravinder, learned Counsel for the petitioner, submitted that as the appellate forum has granted the relief sought for by the petitioner, the cause in the Writ Petition ceased to survive.
In view of the above-submission of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel, WPMP.No.11273 of 2014, filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of.
