THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R Sri Amruthesh C., learned Counsel for the petitioner. Sri Vijay Kumar A.Patil, learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondents.
2. The petition is admitted for hearing. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the same is heard finally.
3. In this petition, the petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus to respondent nos.2 to 4 to consider the representation dated 12.03.2019 given by the Petitioner- Trust and to grant adequate police protection to conduct Rama Navami Musical Festival-2019 in the name of Rama Seva Mandali.
4. When the matter was taken up today, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the Commissioner of Police or any authority designated by him may be directed to consider and decide the representation submitted by the petitioner and to provide police protection to the petitioner to conduct Rama Navami Musical Festival-2019.
5. Sri Vijay Kumar A.Patil, learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondents submitted that a suitable action on the representation submitted by the petitioner shall be taken by the Commissioner of Police or any authority which may be designated by him.
6. In view of the aforesaid submissions made and in the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Commissioner of Police or any other Authority designated by him to decide the representation submitted by the petitioner by a speaking order in accordance with law on or before 06.04.2019.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
