Spl vs Ibrahim

High Court Of Gujarat|16 July, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

[1] Learned AGP, Mr.P.P.Banaji for the applicants/appellants has submitted that respective First Appeals involve amount less than Rs.1,00,000/- and hence, he sought to dismiss these appeals as per the practice of this Court.
[2] It has been the consistent practice of this Court not to enter into the merits of those appeals wherein the claim in appeal is petty, and claims upto Rs. 1,00,000/- have been quantified by this Court as petty claims. Since the amount involved in these appeals is less than Rs.1,00,000/-, these appeals are dismissed without entering into the merits of the matter.
[3] It is clarified that as this order has been passed without entering into the merits of the matters, this order will not come in way while deciding other cognate appeal which have arisen from the same impugned order.
