This petition is preferred against the order dated 12.12.2000 passed by the Director, Agricultural Marketing & Rural Finance, copy whereof is produced at annexure "A" to the petition.
2.Mr.K.S.Zaveri for respondent No.2 submits that the respondent No.2 submitted an application dated 15.11.2000 and upon the said application submitted by the respondent No.2, the respondent No.1 passed an order. Mr.Zaveri submits that the respondent No.2 is not desirous to pursue the original application submitted before the Director, Agricultural Marketing & Rural Finance and he declared before the court that the said appalication is not pressed. Since the application itself is withdrawn by the respondent No.2 as a consequence thereof the order dated 12.12.2000 which is impugned in the petition does not survive.
3.Under the above circumstances, since the order dated 12.12.2000 does not survive as stated above, no useful purpose would be served in examining the question raised in this petition. Hence, this petition is rejected as having become infructuous. Notice is discharged. There shall be no order as to costs.
