High Court Of Gujarat|15 June, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Per : HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE A.R.DAVE) Learned advocate Mr. Pardiwala appearing for respondent No. 3 has submitted that as there were vacancies in the cadre of Judges and ministerial staff in the Labour Courts, respondent No. 3 had sent a proposal for filling up the vacancies. The said proposal was forwarded in May 2001.
Mr. K.L. Pandya, learned Assistant Government Pleader has stated that the said proposal with regard to filling up the vacancies has already been received by the State long back and the said proposal is under active consideration of the Government.
Looking to the fact that there are several vacancies, we are sure that the Government shall act in pursuance of the proposal as soon as possible and take an appropriate decision. Learned Assistant Government Pleader has prayed for time and has submitted that the Government would take atleast one month's time for taking a decision on the said proposal.
In view of the said statement made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, it is directed that the Government shall take decision on the said proposal as soon as possible and the decision so taken shall be placed before this Court on 14.2.2005.
S.O. to 14.2.2005.
