Special Civil Application No. 86 ... vs Unknown

High Court Of Gujarat|15 June, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to delete respondent No.2. Permission granted. Respondent No.2 stands deleted.
2.Notice. At the request of the Court, learned AGP Mr. Hasurkar accepts and waives notice on behalf of the respondent.
3.In this petition, the main grievance made by the petitioner is that though substantial time has passed since he was placed under suspension by order dated 11.7.2002, the respondent has not reviewed the order of suspension as per the Government guidelines. It is contended that though the petitioner has made several representations, the respondent has neither reviewed his suspension, nor replied to the petitioner in response to his representations.
4.In the facts of the present case, it is therefore directed that the respondent shall take into consideration the representations of the petitioner, treating the present petition also as an additional representation and give a suitable reply to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With these directions, the petition is disposed of. Direct service permitted.
