Special Civil Application No. 83 ... vs Unknown

High Court Of Gujarat|15 June, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

It is contended on behalf of the petitioners that by the impugned transfer orders, the petitioners are ordered to be placed at places far away from Baroda where the respective husbands of each of the petitioner is working. It is contended that there are vacancies available in and around Baroda where the petitioners can be accommodated. The Counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the petitions to make representations to the authorities for accommodating the petitioners at nearby places. I am sure if such representations are made, the competent authority shall consider the same and give suitable reply to the petitioners as early as possible and preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such representations. The authorities will also bear in mind the request of the petitioners that their joining time may be extended within the permissible limits of the Rules.
Subject to the above observations, the petitions stand disposed of as withdrawn. Direct service permitted.
