JUDGMENT / ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 23.12.2014.
2.Heard Mr.G.Sankaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.R.Varalakshmi, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submits that the writ petitioner was initially appointed as a Helper in the Electricity Board on consolidated pay in the year 1992 and there after appointed to the post of Junior Assistant in the year 1995, based on the internal selection. However, further promotion to the writ petitioner was denied on account of not possessing the required educational qualification. In this regard, the writ petitioner made a representation to the first respondent on 23.12.2014.
4.Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 23.12.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs.
