JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.12.2016 in accordance with law.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that on 13.10.2016, he purchased a Lorry bearing Registration No.TN-30-AT-8123 from the fourth respondent for valuable sale consideration of Rs.6,50,000/- and he paid a sum of Rs.1,25,000/. Thereafter, the fourth respondent obtained petitioner's signature in 20 Rupees Stamp paper and three blank cheques and transferred the ownership of the lorry in the petitioner's name and he assured to arrange finance assistance for the balance amount. While so, on 28.12.2016, at about 12.30 p.m., the third respondent taken the lorry and also threatened the petitioner. In this connection, he made representation before the respondents 1 and 2 requesting them to release the lorry, which is in the custody of the third respondent. Since no orders have been passed on the said representation, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
4. In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.12.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
