The parents of the wife have filed OP (G&W) No.536/2013 on the file of the Family Court, Thalassery for custody of the child. The child is now with the husband (his father) and studying at Pattimattom, Muvattupuzha. The wife seeks transfer of OP (G&W) No.536/2013 to the Family Court, Kannur. The husband seeks transfer of OP (G&W) No.536/2013 to the Family Court, Muvattupuzha. 2. It is reported that both the husband and the wife have remarried after divorce. The child is studying in a school at Muvattupuzha as stated earlier. It will be convenient for the parties to have the case tried by the Family Court, Ernakulam. Ernakulam has better connectivity for the parties to commute in the circumstances.
3. I therefore order transfer of OP (G&W) No.536/2013 from the Family Court, Thalassery to the Family Court, Ernakulam. The transferee court shall Tr.P (C) Nos.19 & 63 of 2014 2 issue notice to the parties and take the proceedings to a logical end.
The Transfer Petitions are disposed of as above.
