The petitioner is sought to be prosecuted in Case Crime No. 753 of 2017 under Sections 41, 411, 414, 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC read with Section 8/20 N.D.P.S. Act, Police Station Robertsganj, District Sonbhadra.
The allegation is of transporting contra band Ganja (Narcotics) weighing about 22 kg. In such circumstances, we are not inclined to quash the FIR.
It is open to the petitioner to seek his remedy by way of bail before the Court below.
Hence, the writ petition is dismissed.
