Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
Since the application for grant of license stated to have been made in 2013, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for liberty to apply afresh in terms of the 2016 Rules and for directions being framed for expeditious disposal of the same.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents states that subject to such an application being made by the petitioner within a period of three weeks from today and all formalities contemplated in the 2016 Rules being complied with, the Licensing Authority shall duly evaluate the application so made and all endeavour shall be made to conclude the proceedings within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
The petition consequently stands disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
