This Criminal Original petition is filed for a direction to the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madurai, to expedite the trial in M.C.No.29 of 2016 within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

This Court earlier has passed an order dated 14.07.2017, in Crl.O.P.No.8432 of 2017, issuing direction to the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madurai, to dispose of the Maintenance case in M.C.No.29 of 2016 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Subsequently, the said order was recalled by an order dated 23.08.2017 in Crl.M.P.(MD)No.7515 of 2017.
4. Since this Court has dismissed the Criminal Original petitions in Crl.O.P.(MD)Nos.8048 and 8049 of 2017, there is no impediment for disposing the Maintenance case in M.C.No.29 of 2016.
5. Having regard to overall circumstances and facts, this Court is inclined to direct the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madurai, to expedite the trial in M.C.No.29 of 2016 and to dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The Criminal Original petition is allowed, accordingly.
