Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent nos. 1 and 2 and Sri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel appearing for the respondent no.3.
Present writ petition has been filed for quashing the whole results declared and published on the website dated 13.8.2008 issued by the Secretary Examination Regulatory Authority, Allahabad, respondent no.4 and for mandamus commanding the respondents to revisit the whole result after going through the copies of the candidates including the petitioner and also for deciding the objections made out by the petitioner.
At present, the grievance of the petitioner appears to be that though she had correctly answered certain questions in the competitive entrance examination, she has not been given benefit of marks for some of the correct answers marked by her. The petitioner moved an application in this regard for supplying of scanned copy of OMR sheet, which is said to be pending .
It is further stated that since the scanned answer sheet has not been made available to the petitioner, the petitioner is not able to compare her answers so as to check the correctness of marks awarded to the petitioner in his result without entertaining the merits of the present writ petition.
Without entering the merits, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make necessary application after depositing the prescribed fee of Rs. 2000/- along with the certified copy of this order within within a period of two weeks from today and the respondent no.4-Secretary Examination Regulatory Authority, Allenganj, U.P. at Allahabad shall provide the scanned copy of answer-sheet to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of the application.
It is also open to the petitioner to institute appropriate proceedings before appropriate forum, in case her grievance survives after the scanned copy of her answer sheet is made available to her.
Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. No order as to costs.
