The goods purchased by the petitioner from a dealer in Hyderabad were detained in transit and Ext.P3 notice was issued to him demanding a security deposit as a condition for release of the vehicle. The allegation in Ext.P3 is that the transportation of goods is only accompanied by a photocopy of the invoice. The fact that the transaction in question was an interstate sale is not disputed by the respondents. 2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as also the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to release the goods covered by Ext.P3 notice on the strength of a simple bond considering the fact that the petitioner herein is a registered dealer.
