ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“…to issue an appropriate Writ, order or directions mostly one which is in the nature of a Writ of mandamus, declaring the election of the 6th Respondent as President of the Dharmavaram Co-operative Town Bank Limited, Dharmavaram, Anantapuramu District on 14.07.2014 as null & void, illegal, irregular and unsustainable.”
After arguing the case, Sri P.Veera Reddy, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner, agreed to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to his client to file an election petition under Section 61(3) of the A.P.Cooperative Societies Act, 1964. He has, however, submitted that a copy of resolution has not been furnished to his client so far electing respondent No.6 as the President of Dharmavaram Co- operative Town Bank Limited, Dharmavaram, Anantapur.
Sri R.N.Hemendranath Reddy, learned counsel for respondent No.6, submitted that his client will supply a copy of resolution to the petitioner as and when approached.
In the light of the above submissions of the learned counsel, the writ petition is disposed of without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case with liberty to the petitioner in terms of the prayer made.
As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.36272 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
