Petitioner was employed in U.P. Jal Nigam and has superannuated on 31.01.2020. Petitioner's grievance is that retiral benefits including gratuity, leave encashment, dearness allowance as well as interest accrued thereon have not been paid to the petitioner so far.
Sri Vimlesh Kumar Rai, learned counsel for the respondent Corporation states that petitioner's grievance would be considered in accordance with law.
In the facts and circumstances, noticed above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.4 to examine petitioner's grievance and to ensure that all withheld retiral benefits are released to the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order. In case such amount is not paid within the aforesaid period, the petitioner shall also be entitled to payment of interest @ 8% per annum.
