This is a petition filed under section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking transfer of O.P.No.59/2014 pending before the Family Court, Ottappalam to Family Court, Thrissur. 2. It is claimed that the respondent was employed abroad at the time of marriage and since the marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent became bitter, proceedings were initiated. The petitioner has instituted O.P.No.495/2014 before the Family Court, Thrissur for return of gold ornaments and money while the respondent has instituted O.P.No.59/2014 before the Family Court, Ottappalam seeking dissolution of marriage.
3. The petitioner points out that she is still working in Dubai and her aged parents find it extremely difficult to travel to attend the court proceedings as and when required by the court. In such circumstances, the petitioner prays for transfer of O.P.No.59/2014 from Family Court, Ottappalam to Family Court, Thrissur, where O.P.No.495/2014 filed by her is pending.

4. The respondent has been served and he entered appearance and very strongly opposed the transfer of the case.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the inconvenience and difficulties pleaded by the petitioner, it is only proper that the relief prayed for by the petitioner be granted.
Hence this transfer petition is allowed and O.P.No.59/2014 pending before the Family Court, Ottappalam shall stand transferred to Family Court, Thrissur.
