1. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for and is granted leave during the course of the day to correct the array of respondent no.3 and mention "Banda" instead of "Kannauj".
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
3. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that both the petitioners are major. They got married on 30.05.2019 at Arya Samaj Mandir Shiv Katra, Kanpur Nagar. The petitioners have also got their marriage registered under the U.P. Marriage Registration Rules, 2017.
4. Since the petitioners are married against their parents' wishes, they are being harassed by the family members. Hence this petition.
5. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to approach the S.H.O., Police Station Banda, District Banda, who shall extend all necessary help and protection to the petitioners in terms of the Government Order dated 31.08.2019.
