JUDGMENT / ORDER

Challenging the order of transfer, this writ petition has been filed.
2.The contesting 3rd respondent has filed counter affidavit.
3.When the matter came up for hearing, learned Additional Advocate General submitted that the request of the petitioner with regard to posting him in other place was considered by the respondents 1 and 2 and that fresh transfer order bearing CPO No.13/2017/C/No.A3/67705/2016, dated 03.01.2017, has been issued to the petitioner and the same was not received by the petitioner.
4.Mr.A.Thirumurthy, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he has already instructed the petitioner to report for duty immediately. However, in view of the subsequent order dated 03.01.2017, the petitioner may be permitted to join duty on 06.01.2017 at B.3 Teppakulam Law and Order Police Station, Madurai City, as per the fresh transfer order bearing CPO No.13/2017/C/No.A3/67705/2016 dated 03.01.2017 and thereafter undergo medical procedure before the Board.
5.Placing on record the order bearing CPO No.13/2017/C/No.A3/67705/2016 dated 03.01.2017, the petitioner is directed to report duty on 06.01.2017 as per the abovesaid order dated 03.01.2017.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P(MD)No.17278 of 2016 is closed.
