JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition has been filed directing the respondent police to remove the lock and seal of the petitioner's residential house and allow the petitioner to reside therein along with the petitioner's family in a peaceful manner on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 01.03.2016 within the time frame fixed by this Court.
2.Today, Mr.A.Sakthivel, C5 Silaiman Police Station, is present before this Court.
3.The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the residence of the petitioner does not fall within the territorial jurisdiction of Annanagar Police Station nor Karuppayurani Police Station, but, whereas, it falls within the jurisdiction of Silaiman Police Station. The learned Additional Government Pleader further submitted that on the representation given by the petitioner, a petition enquiry is pending in CSR No.115/2016 by the Silaiman Police Station. He also submitted that the police have not locked the house of the petitioner as contended by her.
4. Hence, this petition is closed with a direction to the Silaiman Police to proceed with the enquiry in CSR No.115/2016 and take action in accordance with law. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
