The petitioner has approached this Court challenging the fixation of dead line for filing the application under the Kerala Service Inam Lands (Vesting and Enfranchisement) Rules, 1981. According to the petitioner, the last date was fixed on 30.11.2001. In one of the cases, this Court has disposed the matter on instructions from the Government that the Government is proposed to extend the time for receiving the application under the Kerala Service Inam Lands (Vesting and Enfranchisement) Rules, 1981. Considering the above, there shall be a direction to the second respondent or any other competent officer shall receive the application from the petitioner based on the extension of time for filing the application and to dispose of the application in accordance with law after hearing the WP(C).No.30362/2014-U.
