Property purchased by the petitioner as per Ext.P1 was acquired for NH 17 bye-pass development. Ext.P2 award was passed. Aggrieved by the same, petitioner has preferred an appeal, Ext.P3 before the District Collector and Arbitrator, Thrissur, in accordance with Section 3-G(5) of the National Highways Act, 1956 which is pending consideration. It is in this background seeking appropriate direction for early disposal of Ext.P3, this writ petition is filed.
2. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned senior Government Pleader, there will be a direction to the first respondent to take on board Ext.P3 appeal and consider the same, in accordance with law, after providing notice of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested or affected persons, within four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
