JUDGMENT / ORDER

The grievance projected in the writ petition is of the year 2008 and that the Panchayat road passing in front of the petitioner's house is being used incessantly by heavy goods vehicles causing threat to life and limb of the pedestrians, as also causing untold harassment to the residents on both sides of the road. The specific contention raised was also with respect to the additional 11th respondent, who is said to be plying tipper lorries through the said road. The relief sought for is to erect a signboard so as to divert the heavy goods vehicle through another road and not through the Panchayat road. 2. The learned Government Pleader on instruction submits that, according to his instructions, there is no plying of goods vehicle through the Panchayat road at this point of time, since there is another road provided. The learned counsel for the additional 11th respondent also submits that they are no longer carrying on any quarrying operations in the WPC.No.25884/2008 : 2 :
property to which the Panchayat road leads. In such circumstance, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to conduct enquiry and take appropriate action if any grievance of like nature is raised by the petitioner in the existing circumstance.
Writ petition disposed of.
