The petitioner is aggrieved with the denial of issuance of granted permit. Ext.P1 was the permit granted on 28.5.2014. The issuance was not made since the settlement of timings has not been completed till now. The petitioner seeks for expeditious consideration of settlement of timings. The Secretary, Regional Transport Authority shall convene a timing conference, after hearing the objectors/rival operators, settle the timings, at any rate, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. If the Secretary is not able to settle the timings within that period, the petitioner shall be issued with the permit on the proposed timings, however, subject to finalisation in a properly scheduled timing conference. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
