This petition has been filed for a direction upon the respondents not to interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioners, consequent upon solemnization of marriage by them.
Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent nos.1, 2 and 3 points out that a First Information Report has been lodged in the matter as Case Crime No. 500 of 2016 under sections 363, 366 ,504 and 352 I.P.C., Police Station Vilaspur District Rampur which is pending.
In view of the fact that a First Information Report has been lodged in the matter, remedy of the petitioners lies before appropriate forum for protection qua First Information Report, in accordance with law, and filing of the present petition is not the appropriate remedy.
Subject to the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
